Luka Modric is ready to establish himself in Real Madrid's midfield.
The 26-year-old had 90 minutes in Croatia's 1-0 win over Macedonia on Friday evening and played the full game as his team drew 1-1 in Belgium on Monday.
Modric is happy to have come through that test and will now hope to be at his best for Real Madrid's trip to Sevilla at the weekend before Tuesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester City.
"I'm feeling better and better," the diminutive playmaker told Sky Sports News.
"Of course it was a bit difficult for me playing two games in four days, both 90 minutes.
"But I think I managed to get out of the game well and we get two good games (and) four points.
"That is what we expected and it was good. Job done."
