Orlando City SC's Designated Player Kaka believes Major League Soccer has the opportunity to grow rapidly.
The former Real Madrid and AC Milan star is of the belief that the USA and Canada's top flight competition has the organizational capabilities of becoming a much more successful league than that of his homeland in Brazil.
Despite the fact the Brazilian league has produced hundreds of world-class players and has been around for much longer than MLS, Kaka feels North America has a lot to look forward to.
"Unfortunately, in Brazil, we have a big problem with the calendar, with the clubs about salaries," Kaka told reporters.
"Here [in MLS], we are more organized in this moment, [with] a big possibility to grow faster than Brazil.
"Brazil, in this moment we have to change a lot of things, and that's not easy, because it's so many times doing the wrong things, and now I think it's the moment a lot of people that love football in Brazil need to think [about how] to change the soccer there."
The 2002 World Cup-winner, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2007, also feels the salary cap situation will go a long way to keeping everything in order in MLS.
"I think it's important, the salary cap [in MLS], because the clubs will be organized," Kaka added.
"They will grow organized.
"This cap will be increased when the television pays more for the league [rights], when the league grows. So it's one step, step-by-step.
"Maybe it takes a little more time, but it's important to grow, and franchises, the teams, will be healthy."
