MLS coaches scout college game

A host of MLS coaches and officials were at the recent college match between Maryland and Connecticut, scouting players as they prepare for season 2011.

DC United caretaker Ben Olsen and his technical director Chad Ashton, Real Salt Lake executive Garth Lagerwey, former DC coach Curt Onalfo, Houston Dynamo number two Steve Ralston and representatives from both Philadelphia Union and the New York Red Bulls were all on hand to see Maryland dish out Connecticut's first loss.

Among those out on the pitch were RSL youth academy trainee Tony Cascio and DC United affiliate Ethan White who both look like exciting prospects and could be snapped up by their clubs as homegrown players or thrown into the MLS SuperDraft in the future.
