MLS beckons for ex-Rangers, Man City midfielder Beasley

DaMarcus Beasley is reportedly on his way out at German club Hannover 96 and may be back playing Major League Soccer in the not too distant future. Reports suggest the 28-year old is seen as surplus to Hannover boss Mirko Slomka's requirements and the stats don't lie - Beasley has made just four Bundesliga appearances this season.

The former Rangers and Manchester City winger is likely to attract plenty of attention from MLS clubs with some already sounding out the 93-times capped USA international.

Beasley already has MLS experience, kicking off his professional career with LA Galaxy back in 1998 before he made close to 100 appearances for Chicago Fire between 200 and 2004. He also had a successful stint with Dutch Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven.
