MLS ban Houston Dynamo striker Kamara for two weeks

Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber has suspended Houston forward Kei Kamara two regular season games and fined him $500. Kamara was involved in an incident with an MLS officiating crew after Houston's preseason match versus the San Jose Earthquakes on Feb. 15, 2009. MLS investigated the incident and found that Kamara made inappropriate comments to an official, thus was fined and suspended.

Kamara will serve the suspension for the first two games of the 2009 Regular Season when Houston faces the Columbus Crew on March 22 and the San Jose Earthquakes on March 28.
