Queens Park Rangers have reportedly knocked back an approach from fellow Championship outfit MK Dons for midfielder Massimo Luongo.
Luongo has fallen out of favour at Loftus Road after Chris Ramsey – the manager who signed him for £5million from Swindon Town this summer – was sacked.
Neither stand-in boss Neil Warnock nor current manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have provided the Australian international with regular first team action in recent months.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting MK Dons have seen this as an opportunity to recruit the 23-year-old.
However, QPR are reportedly eager to retain Luongo and see him fight to reclaim his place in the first XI.
