MK Dons chairman Pete Winkelman admits he could've sold Brendan Galloway for bigger money this summer.
The young defender moved to Everton last month.
Winkelman told the Telegraph: "I'm gutted we've lost Brendan [to Everton]. I love the kid. The minute he looked me in the face and said 'I want to go', we let him. We could have got more money.
"But he's been here since he was nine. He will probably go into their under-21 squad."
