Mjallby hopes Celtic draw PSG's 'King of Sweden' Ibrahimovic

Celtic assistant manager Johan Mjallby is hoping the Scottish champions draw Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League Round of 16.

The draw for the first knockout phase of Europe's top flight club competition takes place in Switzerland on Thursday and Mjallby would love to see his sides defenders take on fellow countryman Zlatan Ibrahimovic by coming up against French giants PSG.

"Zlatan is a superstar - especially in Sweden where there are five or six pages dedicated to him in the newspapers every day," Mjallby said.

"He's probably even bigger than the King in Sweden!

"And I don't mean King Henrik (Larsson) - I mean the REAL King of Sweden.

"King Henrik is quite big as well but I'd say Zlatan is maybe trumping even him just now.

"PSG have spent a lot of money and have great resources. They are starting to get it together after an indifferent start but they've been very good in the Champions League.

"Zlatan is a top-quality striker, and wherever he goes he wins titles and that speaks volumes for him.

"He's not going to win anything internationally with Sweden so the Champions League is something he's really striving for.

"It would be nice to be drawn against him - and a great challenge for our defenders to make sure we keep clean sheets."
