Miralles delighted with Everton fight-back

Everton winger Kevin Mirallas was pleased to rescue a point in their 3-3 draw with Aston Villa.

Mirallas admitted the Blues should have made the most of their openings in front of goal, but was pleased with a last-gasp leveller.

He told evertontv: "I suppose it's a welcome point and when you look at the game on the whole and how it finished up, we were relieved to get a draw. With all the chances we had, we probably did enough to win. Okay, we're still in fifth but it would have been much better if we had got all three points.

"Villa certainly made our task very difficult. All games are tough in this league, but when you come up against someone who on paper have a very good squad but have had difficulties, they can make you fight hard and battle for the points. We had to do that all the way today."
