Miller pens new Aberdeen contract

Aberdeen striker Lee Miller has signed a new two-year contract with the Dons, putting an end to speculation over the 25-year-old's future.

The news comes as a timely boost to boss Jimmy Calderwood who faces a massive rebuilding job with up to eleven players leaving Pittodrie this summer.

Miller said: "I'm really happy to be staying with Aberdeen for two years as I am very settled here and really enjoyed playing football with this side at the moment.

"It has taken me a bit of time to come to this decision as I had to weigh up my other options in different places but the decision has been made and I am an Aberdeen for the foreseeable future."
