Manchester City forward Robinho has emerged as an alternative for AC Milan should they fail to land Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Brazil international is facing an uncertain future at Eastlands having spent the second half of last season on loan in his homeland with Santos.
City boss Roberto Mancini has a wealth of attacking options at his disposal and it is believed the club are ready to let their record signing move on.
Milan have made no secret of their desire to land Barca striker Ibrahimovic this summer, but are looking at other players should their top target fail to arrive.
Vice-president Adriano Galliani told Sky Italia: "Robinho is the alternative to Ibrahimovic, but we want the Swedish striker."
Reports in Italy have claimed that Milan official Ariedo Braida has flown in to England as they look to reach an agreement with City and Robinho.
