Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic feels they can be happy with their 1-1 draw against AC Milan.
Nigel de Jong's deflected overhead kick cancelled out a Roberto Soriano strike on the day.
"We were unable to play the first half the way we wanted to because we made too many misplaced passes. It's not the only time we've done that, so it's an issue of character," Mihajlovic told Sky Sport Italia after a 1-1 draw.
"We changed system and moved players around after the break. Once we went in front, we should've finished the game, as for 10 minutes after the goal Milan were really struggling.
"Instead of pressing on the gas, we settled for the 1-0 lead and tried to control the game. That's something we are really not good at.
"We conceded the equaliser and risked losing it with Suso's chance against the woodwork. Now our next game against Cesena becomes very important and they'll give everything, as it's the last chance saloon."
