Sinisa Mihajlovic is excited by the prospect of taking the AC Milan job.

Mihajlovic is expected to step in for Pippo Inzaghi.

"Milan is a stimulating adventure that I could really enjoy," ex-Sampdoria boss Mihajlovic told Sky Sport Italia.

"The dinner at Arcore was informal and pleasant. At the start of the year I did not expect to be there, but we got to know each other. I've always had respect for them, even when I was on the other side at Inter.

"We ate well and drank even better, but that's it. Do I feel ready for this? I felt ready last year and two years ago. I always feel ready."
