Simon Mignolet is confident Sunderland players won't get carried away with their win at Newcastle United.
Sunderland ran out 3-0 winners to record their first victory on Tyneside in 13 years, but Mignolet says the squad must keep their feet firmly on the ground.
"It was a timely win which will give us a lift and a boost ahead of the coming games," Mignolet told safc.com.
"It was an important three points, but the one thing we have to do now is build on the result.
"We have to learn from our mistakes, even those made during the course of the Newcastle game, because there are still a lot of points to play for."
