Midtjylland captain Sviatchenko admits Brentford signing Lossl can be 'bombastic'

The fallout from comments made by Brentford signing Jonas Lossl continues to be felt in Denmark.

Upon joining the Bees, the former Everton keeper declared he would not be returning to parent club FC Midtjylland, despite the loan only running to June. Lossl has a deal with FCM to 2025.

FCM captain Erik Sviatchenko told Bold: "Now I know Jonas really well, and he can sometimes be a little bombastic in his statements, and I also think that it was taken a little out of context.

"It is completely understandable that he had hoped for more and that he would have liked a different role than he had. And then it's super cool for him to loan to Brentford, and of course it's a shame for us.

"But that he then says that he will not return to Midtjylland - so he knows like all the rest of us that football is not definitive, so I see no problem in that. It's just Jonas when he is in this unhappy emotional state, I think."
