Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate admits it's been tough going reigning in Manu Pogatetz.

The Austria defender played at centre-half for the 0-0 FA Cup draw with Sheffield United and Southgate explained: "Poggy has been waiting for his opportunity to play there all season.

"I thought he had an excellent game. But he was mad with himself for missing that chance in the last minute, he was really frustrated in the dressing room afterwards.

"But as I said immediately after the match, I think a draw was a fair result and this tie is far from over before we start to think about any quarter-final tie."
