Middlesbrough star Bamford to hold Chelsea talks at season's end

Middlesbrough young gun Patrick Bamford has revealed that he will hold talks with parent club Chelsea at the end of the season in order to discuss his future.

Bamford has been a revelation during his season-long loan at promotion-chasing Middlesbrough this season, scoring 17 goals and winning the Football League Championship Player of the Year award.

The former Nottingham Forest striker admits he would love to play regularly under Jose Mourinho but will have to wait until season's end before he knows more of his Stamford Bridge future.

"Ever since I signed for Chelsea, It has been my dream [to pull on the Blue shirt]," Bamford said on talkSPORTS' Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show.

"But it is a bridge I will cross when I go back to Chelsea in the summer. Depending on what happens at 'Boro, it will be a discussion we have when the season is done and dusted.

"Jose has got to do his job with regards to winning the Premier League [before we talk]."
