Chelsea will offer Patrick Bamford a long-term contract according to reports.

The Daily Mail suggests that the Blues are keen to tie down the talented 21-year old striker who has starred on his season-long loan with Middlesbrough.

Bamford, who has 17 Championship goals for the Teessiders, is out of contract at Stamford Bridge this summer but the Premier League leaders are keen to secure him for the future.

It is believed that Bamford will be sent out on another 12-month loan once he puts pen to the new Chelsea contract.
