Middlesbrough skipper Williams out for four months

Middlesbrough captain and Australian international Rhys Williams is likely to be out of action for up to four months after undergoing surgery on damaged ankle ligaments. The 24-year-old utility player picked up the injury in the Teessiders' Capital One Cup victory against Gillingham last month.
