Championship club Middlesbrough has signed Emilio Nsue from Real Mallorca.
The versatile 24-year old, who can be deployed anywhere on the right side, has penned a three-year deal with the Teessiders after spending his senior career in Spain.
Nsue's deal will be officially confirmed subject to international clearance but Boro boss Aitor Karanka was excited about bringing the former Spain U21 international to the Riverside Stadium.
"He is a versatile player who I have known for five years. He is a good lad with a good mentality and approach to the game," he told the club's official website.
"I know him personally and know the type of person he is, and that is important. And as a player he can play in different positions and I am delighted we have agreed a deal to sign him."
Nsue, who made a total of 154 appearances for Mallorca, becomes Boro's fourth signing of the summer following Kike, Tomas Mejias and James Husband to the Riverside.
