Versatile Middlesbrough star Rhys Williams has been named in the top 10 players in the Championship by opposition managers.
The 23-year old Australian international came in eighth in a poll taken by all 24 managers of tier two English clubs who named their top five players from the division, excluding players from their own clubs.
Southampton striker Rickie Lambert, who was crowned the Championship Player of the Year, came in at number one ahead of Cardiff City midfielder Peter Whittingham and Saints teammate Adam Lallana.
Following the top three were Burnley's Jay Rodriguez, West Ham United pair James Tomkins and Kevin Nolan, Blackpool veteran Kevin Phillips, with Williams in eighth ahead of Crystal Palace young gun Wilfried Zaha and Birmingham City's Chris Burke.
