Kei Kamara was extremely proud of his former club Sporting Kansas City in the wake of their MLS Cup triumph this season.
SKC beat Real Salt Lake in a penalty shootout at Sporting Park on December 7 to claim the 2013 MLS Cup and the match did not go unnoticed by former club star Kamara, who is now with Middlesbrough in the English Championship.
Kamara, who joined Boro in September, played 15 times for SKC in season 2013 and managed to score seven goals on their path to the playoffs.
After the win, he posted the following on Twitter:

And he also heaped praise on goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen who announced his retirement a few days ago.

Since arriving at the Riverside Stadium, former Norwich City loanee Kamara has scored four goals in 14 appearances for the Teessiders.
