Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones will complete a dream move to Liverpool early this week according to MirrorFootball. The 28-year old Australian has been closely linked to the Reds for the past two weeks but now a $AUD3.94million (£2.25m) deal looks imminent.
Reds boss Roy Hodgson wants cover for current number one Pepe Reina and the fact that Jones qualifies as a home grown player is an added bonus.
Jones did not play in Boro's recent Carling Cup tie as he wanted to keep himself available for Liverpool as it is a competition he is highly likely to figure in.
