Middlesbrough are pushing to sign Sunderland striker Danny Graham.

The Mirror says Sunderland are ready to dump their drought-hit front man and could make him available for £1m.

Boro boss Aitor Karanka said: "One of the players we still need to bring in should be another striker. Could it be Graham? I don't know.

"We are speaking about him. He is a player who could be possible for us."
