Middlesbrough are in talks with Walsall midfielder Emmanuel Ledesma according to the players agent.
The 23-year old Argentine, who has previously had spells with Genoa and QPR, is likely to leave the Saddlers this summer with his representative Lucas Cominelli confirming that Boro are showing considerable interest.
"We are just awaiting the offer and we will see from there.
"There are two other clubs also interested from the Championship so we will see, Emmanuel is not in a hurry, he is calm.
"But Middlesbrough are who we are talking to now and are ahead of anyone else.""We are talking with Middlesbrough, yes - but nothing has been signed yet," Cominelli told Sky Sport.
