New A-League franchise North Queensland FC has landed a major early signing. Sydney FC midfielder Robbie Middleby is heading to North Queensland after signing a two-year contract. Mddleby, 33, has spent time playing in Germany and made many National Soccer League appearances with Wollongong, Auckland, Carlton and Newcastle United. It is understood that Socceroos defender and Newcastle Jets captain Jade North is also on the new clubs radar.
