Manchester United veterans Edinson Cavani and Juan Mata could both be heading to the Middle East, reports have claimed.

Both players are expected to depart Old Trafford when their respective contracts expire at season's end.

Uruguay international Cavani has been strongly linked with a move to Argentina, while a return to Spain has been touted for Mata.

Ekrem Konur reports clubs in Qatar and Saudi Arabia are interested in Cavani and Mata.

33-year-old Mata has been with United since 2014, while Cavani's two-year spell will conclude this summer.
