Michel staying cool over Getafe sack claims

Michel has shrugged off rumours tonight's clash with Real Zaragoza could be his last in charge of Getafe.

Life is not so great for Getafe and while they are 11th in the table on 13 points, they have won just once in their last nine competitive games, losing six.

During that run Getafe failed to win in two Copa del Rey matches against fourth-tier Portugalete - although they still reached the last 16 on away goals - while back-to-back defeats to Stuttgart has left them in deep trouble in the Europa League.

That has led to speculation about the future of coach Michel, although the former Real Madrid player is not letting it affect him.

"I don't want to give too much importance to these rumours because they form part of football," he said.

"I do my job and I'm calm. You always take something from runs of form, you need to learn from them whether they are good or bad."
