Girona have been hit by suspension facing Real Madrid this weekend.
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced a suspension for coach Míchel, who was sent off in the 88th minute of the last match against Real Sociedad due to protests directed towards the referee.
In the referee's report, it was written that the red card was shown because Michel had left the technical area and repeatedly protested against his decision with dramatic gestures.
Míchel will be punished with a 2-match ban and fined 700 euros for the club and 600 for the coach.
Thus, Michel will not be on the bench in the matches against Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao and together with him in the stands there will also be Daley Blind and Yangel Herrera, suspended for an accumulation of yellow cards.
