David Meyler is set for late season run with Sunderland.

The highly-rated 22-year-old ­midfielder's Black Cats career has been plagued by injuries.

But the Daily Star says with Seb Larsson ruled out for the rest of the campaign ­following a hernia operation and Kieron Richardson having also kicked his last ball this term, the door has opened for Meyler.
