David Meyler says there's great talent coming through the Sunderland youth system.

Meyler, who himself rolled off the reserve production line and has 26 senior appearances under his belt, also says there's more yet talent coming through the club's second string.

"Lots of players have come through in the past and there are more set to come through in the future," he explained to safc.com.

"The future is bright - we have a lot of young talent and great players [at reserve level]."
