Mexico booked a spot in their sixth successive World Cup by defeating New Zealand 4-2. The South America side beat the All Whites 5-1 at home in last week's first leg, making the aggregate score 9-3 at the death in Wellington.
Oribe Peralta scored a first-half hat-trick for the visitor's before New Zealand added some respectability to the scoreline when Chris James blasted home an 80th-minute penalty and Rory Fallon grabbed a second three minutes later, before Mexico's Pena completed the scoring in the 87th minute.
