Mexico coach Miguel Herrera has defended strikers Javier Hernandez and Raul Jimenez.
Hernandez is on-loan at Real Madrid from Manchester United, while Jimenez is in his first season with Atletico Madrid.
Both El Tri stars could see action tonight in the Champions League quarterfinal second-leg.
"The truth is that both have adapted well (to Spanish football) because when they play they do well, but the attack for each one of the teams is very good and are working well," said Herrera.
"The coaches have been fair with them. They use them as substitutes because the starters are doing really well.
"The internal competition there is great and I think the two have responded."
