Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen is expecting owner Shahid Khan to back him in the January transfer window. Meulensteen was happy with their discussions and is confident funds will be made available to him to help bolster the squad at Craven Cottage.
"We've had good, open discussions and what I can say is that whatever the help, the support is needed, we will get it," said Meulensteen.
"I don't know whether it's a loan or a statement signing. It's more important that he (Khan) has fully committed to the support of Fulham and he will give everything that we need to make sure that we stay up."
