Barcelona thumped Eibar 3-0 yesterday.
Lionel Messi marked the 10-year anniversary of his Barcelona debut by scoring his 250th league goal and providing an assist to see off Eibar and keep the Catalans top of the Primera Division ahead of next week's El Clasico.
The Basque minnows produced a dogged performance at the Nou Camp but their resistance tumbled just before the hour mark when Messi assisted Xavi Hernandez.
Neymar then volleyed in a second and Messi rounded off the scoring to take him to just one strike away from equalling former Athletic Bilbao striker Telmo Zarra's record of 251 Primera Division goals.
Barca coach Luis Enrique: "They played five at the back and that makes it very hard to get through. I'm not worried if the other team make a chance - that's only normal -we'll look at what went wrong and try and put it right, but we didn't give Eibar anything."
