Barcelona star Lionel Messi would love to see Cesc Fabregas quit Arsenal for a Nou Camp return.
The Gunners' hierarchy have attempted to put that matter to bed so often in recent years.
Messi explained: "Ultimately the decision lies with Cesc, but in the end he will do what he wants and what the people at Barcelona want.
"It doesn't depend on us or what we say as players.
"But I think the inclination is to be at Barcelona because there is nowhere he will be better off than here."
