Camel Meriem is reviving his move to Blackburn Rovers.

The Mirror says Meriem is flying in for talks with Blackburn Rovers this week - in a bid to make it third time lucky and join Sam Allardyce's club.

The former Monaco midfielder could be offered a deal for the rest of the season if he proves his fitness following a knee niggle that handicapped his previous two stints.

Highly-rated Meriem - a former France international - is now fully fit and hopes to get a run-out in a closed-door game ahead of a signing.

Allardyce is looking for a couple of bargain captures to beef up his squad and let him trade one of the midfielders he does not want.
