Genoa are closing in on Bordeaux midfielder Fernando Menegazzo.
The Brazilian could be on the move from the French champs in January and his agent Massimiliano Ricci has confirmed Genoa's interest.
Menegazzo is prepared to leave Bordeaux, even with the club on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League knockouts.
