Harry Kewell has revealed that his nine-year old son Taylor helped choose his number at new club Melbourne Victory.
The former Liverpool, Leeds United and Galatasaray winger was officially presented with his first Victory shirt on the weekend and has explained the reasoning behind the selection of number 22.
"Obviously there was a lot of debate about my number. My little boy picked this one. It is a very special number," he told Fox Sports.
The number 22 has some significance within the Kewell household as it is the date of both son Taylor and wife Sheree's birthdays.
