A-League champions Melbourne Victory are looking to kick-off their pre-season in China to help accustom themselves for the Asian Champions League.
A training camp in Tianjin has been mooted by club officials along with two or three matches and would take place prior to the A-League's Pre-Season Cup which begins on July 18.
After a stellar season in which they trumped the three trophies on offer in Australia, the Victory will take part in the ACL in 2010 and see acclimatisation as a major part of performing well on the Asian stage.
"Having qualified for the ACL, it would be good experience for the squad and we're looking at it seriously," Victory coach Ernie Merrick said.
