Incoming A-League club Melbourne Heart are reportedly set to announce the signing of veteran striker John Aloisi.

Sources suggest that the Heart are about to make the announcement that they have signed Aloisi from Sydney FC but details of the deal are still unclear.

The 34-year old enjoyed a great return to form this season, helping the Sky Blues to both the Premiers' Plate and the A-LeagueChampionship, scoring 10 goals in the process.

He will link up with ex-Sydney teammate Clint Bolton at the Heart after the goalkeeper signed a deal in mid February.
