Incoming A-League club Melbourne Heart have announced their tenth signing in the form of midfielder Wayne Srhoj. The 28-year old has signed a multi-year deal with the Heart, joining from Perth Glory where he spent the last two seasons.
Srhoj is a former Australia international and has played in Europe with Romanian clubs National Bucharest and FC Timisoara as well as with several clubs in Australia.
Heart head coach John van 't Schip was delighted to announce that the Queensland-born central midfielder had joined the club.
"Wayne is an excellent footballer who is perfectly suited to the style of football I hope to promote during the upcoming Hyundai A-League season," he said.
"There are very few players in Australia who share Wayne's vision, creativity and on-ball ability, and I have no doubt his presence will be a massive boost for our club moving forward.
"Wayne has the quality to be an international player. It's our job now to work hard together to take his game to the level it can be."
