St Mirren striker Billy Mehmet has agreed a deal to 2010.

The 24-year-old has scored 12 goals since joining the club from Dunfermline in 2005 and is the club's current top-scorer this season.

"Obviously I am delighted to have signed a new deal for the next two-and-a-half years," he said. "It gives me security but I was happy to sign it because this is a club I enjoy playing for."
