Yohan Cabaye's proposed move from Paris Saint-Germain to Crystal Palace is closer to fruition.
It is believed that the Eagles are closing in on the French midfielder after Palace reportedly agreed to pay a club record fee for the French midfielder.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, Cabaye is set to undergo a medical on Thursday, before finalising the move.
Palace have reportedly outlaid £10million, rising to £12.8million with add-ons, for the 29-year-old.
The move back to the Premier League will see Cabaye reunite with his former manager at Newcastle United, Alan Pardew.
Last weekend, Palace co-chairman Steve Parish told talkSPORT of Crystal Palace's interest in Cabaye.
"Yohan Cabaye is definitely one we'd like to do," Parish said. "It would be a massive thing for the club obviously, because he's a seasoned international."
