Former Sevilla midfielder Gary Medel earned a mega bucks deal for himself at Cardiff City.

The Daily Mail says massive signing-on fees, image rights deals and fees to agents all counted against sacked manager Malky Mackay.

It's been revealed Medel cost Cardiff a fee of £10m, rising to £15m, with £800,000 going to agents, a signing-on fee of £1.25m and an images rights deal of £1.6m.

Medel is on £35,000 per week - £10,000 per week less than Andreas Cornelius' wages.
