Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish expects his side to bounce back from the 5-1 thrashing they copped against Manchester City on Sunday.
The loss was out of character for the Blues whose previous heaviest defeat this season was a 3-0 loss at Chelsea and although McLeish admitted his side defended poorly, he knows his players have the character to respond positively from it.
"It was a strange game, but when top clubs click they can do that to you," he said.
"We defended badly in some situations, especially the goals in the second half.
"But we have the capacity to bounce back. We have shown it in the past many times.
"I will call it a blip and challenge the players to win the next game against Hull."
