Heart of Midlothian boss John McGlynn suggests three youngsters will soon sign new contracts.
Versatile Australian Dylan McGowan, teenage striker Callum Paterson and midfielder Jason Holt are all in line for new Tynecastle deals and could put pen to paper very soon despite the Edinburgh clubs cash crisis.
"I'm hoping we are going to have news for the fans shortly, and give them some good news," McGlynn told Hearts TV.
"We are working with a number of players at the minute and we would like to give some good news for the fans.
"It's been a difficult season and a lot of doom and gloom but I can rest assured the best young players will be plying their trade at Tynecastle next season."
