Scott McDonald will soon be back to boost the Middlesbrough team says manager Tony Mowbray.
The Australian striker has been sidelined with a knee injury sustained in the 2-2 draw at Leicester City on February 1 but is set to return to full training within days before being included in a Boro squad in the next few weeks.
"Hopefully, because he's been working so hard on his fitness while he's been injured, it won't be too long before he's back in the squad and that will be a huge boost.""He's been in the gym playing tennis to get the lateral movement back in his knee and he'll be back on the training ground hopefully in the next week or so," Mowbray told the club's official website.
Prior to his injury, McDonald had scored nine goals in 26 Championship appearances for the Teessiders who currently sit sixth on England's tier two table.
