Scott McDonald was on target for Celtic in the second half of last night's Old Firm clash with Rangers but could not prevent a draw. The Australian international headed home in the 79th minute, just eight minutes after coming on as a substitute, but his goal was cancelled out two minutes later when Rangers midfielder Lee McCulloch produced a header of his own to get his side back on level terms.
The Hoops seemed to control the contest but could not deliver the killer blow to their arch enemies and were forced to take just a point with them as Rangers kept their seven-point lead on top of the Scottish Premier League table.
It was McDonald's 10th league goal of the season, putting him in third place on the goalscoring list, behind RangersKris Boyd (19) and Kenny Miller (12).
