Wigan Athletic midfielder James McCarthy was delighted with their victory over Burnley.
McCarthy admits he needed the win after scoring an own goal in the defeat to Aston Villa.
He told the Wigan Evening Post: "To just be in the starting XI is great, especially after what happened to me the other night when I scored an own goal.
"Everyone was really great after the own goal went in, telling me not to worry about it, and it really helped me.
"I was so disappointed with it, but these things happen in football and it's over and done with now.
"We all picked ourselves up after the other night, and Saturday was a massive three points for us."
